The plastic cover provides protection for the circuit board, slotted holes for the module connectors and retainers, and printed labels such as the baseplate description, serial number, and slot number labels. There are three basic types of baseplates discussed in this chapter: Ŷ CPU Ŷ Expansion Ŷ Remote Common Baseplate Features The following figure shows the features that are common to all Series 90-30 baseplates.
