According to IEC/CISPR Publication 11, this equipment is considered as Group 1, Class A industrial equipment. Without proper preventive measures, there may be potential difficulties to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in other environments due to conducted interference and radiated interference. The device is provided as an open device. UL approved equipment must be installed in an enclosure that is properly designed for the specific environmental conditions that exist and is designed to prevent personal injury from contact with live parts. Tools must be used to access the inside of the enclosure. UL listed equipment does not need to be installed in another enclosure. Subsequent sections of this publication may contain additional information about ratings for specific enclosure types that must comply with certain product safety certifications. The equipment is intended to operate in an industrial or control room environment that uses some form of power isolation from the public low-voltage mains. Some computer configurations may not comply with the EN 6100032 harmonic emission standard specified in the EU EMC Directive.
