The cable ground clamp is designed to improve the connection between the cable shield and the PE ground connection: • Motor power cable connected to each 1394 axis module.

• Motor feedback cable to 1394 system module. The contents of this kit verify that the grounding clamp kit contains the items listed in the following table. If your kit does not contain the correct items, please contact your Allen Bradley sales representative. 1 Small grounding cable clamp is designed for feedback connection of 1394C system module and 1326-CPB1 motor power cable connected to shaft module. 2 Large grounding cable clamp is designed to connect 1326-CPC1 motor power cable to shaft module. Before installing the 1394 ground clamp kit, make sure that the 1394 system and shaft modules have ground wires installed as follows: • Each shaft module must be grounded from PE1 to the system module ground bar (see Figure 1). • The system module grounding bar must be grounded to the facility grounding.
