Overspeed protection warning engine
The turbine or other types of prime mover shall be equipped with overspeed shutdown device to prevent the prime mover from being out of control or damaged, which may cause personal injury, loss of life or property damage. The overspeed shutdown device must be completely independent of the prime mover control system. For safety reasons, overtemperature or overpressure shutdown devices may also be required, as appropriate. WARNING - Operation using any unauthorized modifications or using this equipment beyond its specified mechanical, electrical or other operating limits may result in personal injury and/or property damage, including equipment damage. Any such unauthorized modification: (i) constitutes "misuse" and/or "negligence" within the product warranty to exclude the warranty coverage of any resulting damage, and (ii) invalidates the product certification or listing.
