CPU Serial Port
The connection from the CPU serial port to the serial port on the programming computer or other serial devices requires a serial cable, and for ports 2 and 3, a converter is required. Ethernet TCP/IP is connected to the programmer through Ethernet TCP/IP network. The Ethernet interface module needs to be installed in the PLC. This can be Ethernet controller IC697CMM741 or Ethernet interface (type 2) IC697CMM742. Before connecting the programmer and PLC to the Ethernet TCP/IP network, the IP address must be set in the Ethernet interface. After setting the IP address, connect the PLC and the programmer running Windows software to the Ethernet interface.
