应用程序功能块

Application function block
In addition to standard software functions, it can also provide various common function blocks for applications. These are tested applications such as I/O extensions, specific monitoring functions, etc. The purpose of power system stabilizer (PSS) is to restrain load oscillation by using excitation, so as to improve the overall stability of generator and transmission system. The PSS operates by affecting the input of the voltage regulator – very effective for static excitation systems, but also for systems with rotating exciters. ABB provides three different types of power system stabilizers: IEEE compliant PSS. For IEEE-PSS2A compliant stabilizers, fixed parameters are optimized by adjustable lead/lag filters. In order to determine these parameters, ABB has calculation software that takes into account generator and excitation system data as well as transformer and network reactance.
Adaptive Power System Stabilizer (APSS)
The adaptive power system stabilizer works with variable parameters, which are set by continuously calculating the working point and current state of the power system. For the UNITROL 5000, no additional hardware is required - as opposed to the UNITROL P system. Multiband Power System Stabilizer (MBPSS) MBPSS has three independently adjustable operating bands to ensure effective operation in the entire frequency range, usually 0.05... 4.0 Hz, rather than a single lead/lag filter. These three bands are designed to suppress electromechanical oscillations at low, medium and high frequencies. Rotating diode monitoring In addition, the short circuit or open circuit in the branch circuit of the rotating rectifier used in the brushless system can be detected in a wide range of speed ranges. The software monitoring function calculates the harmonic of exciter frequency according to the excitation current signal. The short circuit and open circuit in the branch can be distinguished according to the amplitude related to the excitation current.
