Program Download DriveAP
Set the value of this parameter to the value of the Select Association Pointer parameter. If the X character is missing, DriveAP will not modify the value of this connection parameter during download (that is, the value after download is the same as the value before download). If you click a pointer parameter (that is, a source selection parameter), you can set its value or not define its value. If you click Connection Parameters, the response depends on the operation mode of DriveAP, as shown below: • Online Mode: The Connection Parameters dialog box always displays a list of available parameter values. The current value is highlighted. If an associated pointer parameter is defined, the value of the selected associated pointer parameter is marked with an X character. Otherwise, the value will be deleted from the list of values. • Other modes: If the associated pointer parameter has been defined, the Connection Parameter dialog box will be displayed, and you can specify whether to set the value of this parameter to the value of the selected associated pointer parameter when downloading. • If you click the title block, you can change the title block information (if you download the AP program to the drive later, the download does not include this title information) • If you click an empty grid intersection (and there is enough space around the intersection), you can add a new block to the point. If there is one or more blocks on the page, an asterisk appears on the page tab. If you want to view the description of the block selected from the block type list in the dialog box, press F3 (this is not necessary if the Info window is already on the screen). The block number (normal blocks only) determines the execution order of normal blocks at the time level. If you specify a number that is already in use, the block number of the existing block is automatically moved to make room for the new block. The IO block is a "virtual" block and does not require execution time. • If you click a block, you can (if it is a normal block) change the number of the block or delete the block, or (if it is an IO block) if you want to delete the block, you will be asked a confirmation question. Click the mouse with the Ctrl key (advanced user interface). Use DriveAP DriveAP User Manual 3-9 or (if it is a note block). You can change the note text and/or its alignment (empty text deletes the block).
If you click the output pin of the block first
Then click the input pin of the block, and the input pin is connected to the output pin. • If you click the input pin of the block (instead of clicking the output pin first), you can change the connection of that pin or set its value. • If you click a title block, you can change the title block information. The modified program can be saved to the disk file through the menu command "File - Save" or "File - Save As", or downloaded to the connected drive through the menu "Drive - Download" (if the program is modified in online mode, it does not need to be downloaded). Chapter 4 of DriveAP User Manual 4-1 - Menu Commands Use this command to read and display the contents of the template file (you can also use the Open command if necessary). A template is an empty program that is used as a starting point when you create a new program. E. g. Template file MbpaTemplate. Ap is used for the new MultiBlock program and template file StdTemplate. Ap is used for the new adaption. The name of the open template file is displayed at the top of the screen. Note: Do not use the name of the template file when saving a new program in the future! You can now make a new program. With this command, you can read and display the contents of the previously saved AP file. The file extension of all AP files is AP. The name of the open file is displayed at the top of the screen. If necessary, you can now modify the AP program on the screen (see "Program Modification" in Chapter 3 "Use of DriveAP"). This command saves the program on the screen to a disk file. The name of this file appears at the top of the screen. Note: If the template file has been opened, do not use this command! With this command, you can save the program on the screen to a disk file. All AP files must have an AP file extension. Note: Do not use the name of the template file! With this command, you can save the program page on the screen as a disk file in picture (enhanced metafile) format. The file extension for this file must be EMF.
