For more information, see TCP/IP Ethernet Communication for PACSystems, GFK-2224. Once the temporary IP address is set, the Ethernet interface can be accessed through the network (through the machine version programming software).
Programmer shall be used
Configure the correct IP address for the Ethernet Interface. The default IP address (0.0.0.0) attempts to set the default IP address value (0.0.0.0.0) of the IP address through BOOTP. Whether obtained from the hardware configuration or the backup configuration, the Ethernet interface will request a temporary IP address from the BOOTP server device on the network. The LAN must be tree, not ring. The two Ethernet ports on the PACSystems RX3i Ethernet interface must not be directly or indirectly connected to the same network device. The hub or switch connection in Ethernet must form a tree rather than a ring; Otherwise, packet duplication and network overload may be caused. In this case, the RX3i Ethernet module will continue to reset.
