机架配置

Rack Configuration
PL14, PL13, PL11 and PL12 are standby<<<slot 01 1>V GFK-1447B redundant racks. Two PLC racks are installed at the front and back. In January 2000, each rack configuration will accept two power supplies; One is located at the leftmost module position, the other is located at the right module position, and: 1. Ten (10) VME modules (without IC697 module installed), or 2. Four (4) IC697, blank socket interrupt connector (IC697ACC722) is inserted into the unused slot, or 3. The combination of IC697 and VME modules, blank socket disconnect connector (IC69 7ACC72) is inserted into the unused slot. Power capacity may limit the number of modules in the rack. A maximum of three VME modules can be used in a rack with IC697 modules. By using the jumpers on the backplane and the blank slot interrupt jumper assembly (IC697ACC722) to configure the slots, the flexibility of these racks to allow VME and IC697 modules is realized. VME redundant racks are factory configured to accept IC687 VME modules. The integration of third-party VME modules is accomplished by moving jumpers (next to connectors) to different locations.
Application of extended I/O requirements
The two racks can be interconnected to share a power supply for applications with extended I/O requirements. The power extension cable kit (IC697CBL700) can be used for these applications. Each rack provides slot sensing for rack type I/O modules. Jumpers or DIP switches are not required on I/O modules to address these modules. The overall dimensions of the rack are 11.15 "H x 19" W x 7.25 "D (283mm x 483mm x 184mm). The slot width is 0.8 inches, but the power slot width is 2.4 inches, and the CPU slot width is 1.6 inches. A connector is not installed to fit the width of the CPU. The following figure shows the installation dimensions of the rear bracket (Figure 1) and the front bracket (Figure 2).
