IMDS recommended that IMDS 001 be launched by IMDS Steering Committee in March 2007 and currently optional. This area becomes useful as IMDS is integrated into the development process. For initial samples, other inspection procedures will be introduced to accommodate less detailed descriptions. For details, see Recommendation 023.3.4.3 Part Scope. For the materials listed below half components or materials, you must enter the part scope (%) to which they apply. The following table lists the limits of the scope of these parts: part: from X% to Y%, the maximum M=Y% - X% 0<X ≤ 100 meters ≤ 20 MDS (suppliers: IMDS Steering Committee, steel list or ILI) issued by the Steering Committee are not applicable to this rule. 3.4.4 Synonyms do not apply 3.5 Basic substances 3.5.1 Symbol 3.5.2 describes that basic substances are part of materials- The available essential substances must be selected from the existing list in the IMDS. If essential substances are missing, they can be inserted by the IMDS help desk. You must send them your request and all available information. Not all requests are guaranteed. The substance may not yet exist in the basic substance list, or it may not represent a mixture of different substances - the basic substance must be input in the form that it exists in the material, that is, the elemental decomposition of polymers (C, H, N, O, etc.) is unacceptable - before sending the material data sheet to another company, the total amount of basic substances attached to the material must be 100% (greater than 100% if the scope of use).
If applicable
Alkaline substances must always be associated with the most specific CAS number. The relevant recommendations define exceptions (such as alkaline polymer, alkaline hard rubber, textile fiber, etc.). The maximum range of some basic substances that can be applied to materials depends on the classification of materials. Therefore, a range of 9% - 12% is not allowed, because for 9%, only a range of+/- 1% can be applied. Exceptions: • If the public specification defines the basic substance as part of a wider range of materials • If the basic substance is defined in the internal specification of a wider range of suppliers.
