Check if the load cell is connected
9 Check the signal polarity of the load cell This is a simple method for checking whether the load cell is connected to provide a positive output signal change of the tension electronic device to increase the web tension. 1. Push by hand, apply the force corresponding to the increased web tension on one load cell at a time (as close as possible to the load cell), and check whether the displayed reading is positive. If the display reads negative, connect the load cell signal to the tension electronics. Note: If you do not know the acting direction of the force, connect load cells A and B with the same force direction. To change the polarity of load cell A, reverse X1:5 and 6 (In A+and In A -). To change the polarity of load cell B, reverse X1:9 and 10 (In B+and In B -). 2. After changing the polarity of the load cell, check whether the displayed reading is positive to increase the web tension.
