Topic Description User Type
Module of AM code When block transfer is enabled using one of the memory areas of the AM code of the program type, the Rx7i CPU sometimes generates a block transfer (BLT&MBLT) cycle to access the relevant memory. Therefore, if the memory area is configured to use one of the program type AM codes (AM codes 3Ah, 3Eh, 0Ah or 0Eh), please ensure that at least one of the following two rules is followed: a) The interface type parameter of the memory area must not be set to "Qword Access (64 bit)", and the block transfer parameter must be set to "Disabled" - ORb) The system may not contain any "program" and "data" memory areas with overlapping addresses. (If more than one module responds to a BLT or MBLT cycle, it may cause a system error.) Forced on/off by storing the initial value setting Once the forced on or forced off is stored in the RX7i, the user cannot directly switch from forced on to forced off by downloading the initial value, and vice versa. The user can close the force by downloading, and then open or close the force by downloading again. CMM COMMREQ Limitation Due to the problem in the CMM firmware, the SNP COMMREQRead System Memory (7202) executed on the CMM module cannot be executed correctly when the length is greater than 760 words. Write the error data to the SNP host. Users should not use a length of more than 760 words. The number of active programs returned as zero The number of active programs returned by the SNP request to return the controller type and ID is currently zero. Serial I/O fault at 115K under heavy interrupt load When running at 115K under heavy interrupt load on RX7i, data corruption errors rarely occur in serial communication. In heavy load applications, the user should limit serial communication to 57K or less. The synchronous backup unit can record the over scan fault in the constant scan mode. The synchronous backup unit can report the over scan fault in the constant scan mode, regardless of the time spent in maintaining IO, logic and communication in the scan. A bus read or write may return status 5 instead of 4.
Hardware configuration
When the end address is out of range, the bus read/write status word returned may be 4 instead of 5. Hardware configuration and initial values may not load from flash memory If there is no user logic in the CPU RAM when writing to flash memory, the CPU may not load correctly from flash memory after a power down cycle. To ensure correct power up from the flash memory, ensure that the hardware configuration and logic are stored in RAM before writing to the flash memory. The CPU scanning time increases during overtemperature operation. When the operating temperature of the CPU exceeds the normal operating temperature, the system variable # OVR_ TMP (% SA8) is open (fault group 24, error code 0x0001). When this happens, the scan time increases periodically because the CPU performs a new task to read the actual temperature reported by the temperature sensor. This increase may be as high as 2 milliseconds. GBCs in expansion racks may not power up. Sometimes, when you turn off/on the power of an expansion rack, the 90-70 series GBC modules located in that rack may not power up. The module's OK LED will flash and all module LEDs will turn off. Turn off the rack power again to recover. (Note: This problem does not affect 90-30 GBC.) The machine version software may not be connected. Attempts to connect the programmer to the RX7i over Ethernet will not succeed. The normal connection retry dialog box will not be displayed. Restarting the computer where the programmer is running will fix this problem.
