When IC69xMDL754 (- CC and earlier versions) is connected to a separate field power supply and configured to maintain the final state, when the rack is powered off, all outputs will remain in the final state, as specified. When the power supply of the rack is restored, the output will be turned off instantaneously for up to 800ms, regardless of its final state. These outputs will return to the last state before the CPU switches to run mode. This issue has been corrected in version 1.20 of the MDL754 firmware. Known limitations and open issues in this release issue: hot swapping of modules rarely triggers terminal block loss/addition fault messages. Recommendation: If the terminal block is present and locked, ignore the terminal block missing/adding fault message. Equipment with Class I, Groups A, B, C, and D, Class 2 hazardous area labels installed in hazardous areas is only applicable to Class I, Division 2, Groups A, C, D, or non hazardous areas Warning - explosion hazard - replacement of components may affect the applicability of Class I, Division 2; WARNING - EXPLOSION HAZARD - When in a hazardous location, turn off the power before replacing or wiring the module; WARNING - EXPLOSION HAZARD - DO NOT CONNECT OR DISCONNECT THE EQUIPMENT UNLESS THE POWER IS OFF OR THE AREA IS KNOWN TO BE NON-HAZARDOUS.
