Programmable hyperlight effect
It can be used in many ways: • As a traditional on/off output, they can drive cab lights, marker lights, number plates, small relays or additional bulbs of other electronic circuits. • As Martian lights, they can be used to simulate the output of famous warning lights found in front of modern steam engines used in railways such as the South Pacific, the United Pacific and the Nickel Plate Highway, and can also be set to simulate the flashing glow from the firebox. It is better to install an orange or red light under the fire box area of the locomotive. The second version of the fire box flashing effect is available. It will only open when the sound of the fire box door opening is activated, and will only close when the door is "closed". A lamp of this effect is preferably mounted in the cab, behind the details of the partially opened firebox door.
Independent programming
Each Hyperlight output can be programmed independently, so you can use one bulb as a Mars lamp and the other bulb as a firebox. The functional output can also be used to control other electrical devices, such as smoke and fog generators, but care must be taken that these devices do not exceed the rated output current (100 mA), in which case relays or other low current switching devices need to be added. Inductive loads such as relay coils may require clamping diodes. You must also note that the total current consumption of each lamp and the stall current of the locomotive will not exceed the rated current of the decoder. Finally, you need to decide whether to hardwire the electrical connection between the bidder and the locomotive or use pluggable connectors. Using the connector will enable you to separate the engine and store it, and make painting and maintenance easier, but it may be ugly in smaller models, and it may also reverse the connector during reassembly, thus accidentally damaging the decoder. Hardwiring the decoder will prevent this possibility, but will make bid separation difficult.
